The City of Powell River provides weekly curbside garbage collection. Route, tagging and schedule details are available on the City’s website or at City Hall.
Sliammon band members also have a weekly curbside garbage pick-up. For details contact an operator at the Sliammon Treatment Plant at 604 483-4399.
There is no public garbage collection service for electoral area residents, though collection services are available through private haulers. See the yellow pages under “Garbage Collection” for local service providers.
