The Powell River Regional District provides a limited rural transit service, in keeping with the small size of our population. Fully accessible bus service is available for regional district residents on the following routes:

This regional transit service is financed by contributions from Electoral Areas A, B, C and D and by a grant from the Province of British Columbia. There were plans in 2010 to expand the service but the regional district was unable to obtain funding from the province to finance the expansion. BC Transit will be conducting a service needs review this year.
