Regional district services are provided by a staff team that includes management personnel, unionized employees and facility caretakers working under contract. From time to time the regional district also advertises for consultants or contractors to submit tenders or proposals for special projects. Employment opportunities and tenders are advertised in local papers and posted on our website.
The unionized employees of the Powell River Regional District are represented by the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE Local 798).
