Qualified electors may vote in person on general voting day or at advance voting opportunities. Voting places will be identified when an election or other voting opportunity is declared.
Mail Ballot Voting
Mail ballots are available for qualified electors who:
- have a physical disability, illness or injury that affects their ability to vote at another voting opportunity; or
- expect to be absent from the regional district on general voting day and at the times of all advance voting opportunities; or
- regularly reside in any electoral area where the only access from their residence to a voting place is by boat or aircraft.
Mail ballot packages may be requested in person, by mail, fax or email after a Notice of Voting is posted by the regional district. It is the elector’s responsibility to return their ballot to the regional district office.
